Is it ok to mix different brands of rams?

Can i use a Kingston 4 gbs ram and with a crucial 4gbs one? Thanks.

yes you can as long as they are both the same ddr 1or2or3 for that mother board the brand does not mater

yes, but they should both have the same speeds and timings or else if one is faster it gets lowered to the speed of the slower one
