Trying to build my own computer - got all new hardware from various vendors (but assured that they work together.)
CPU: AMD Athlon II X4 760K 3.8 GHz Quad-Core
Mobo: MSI FM2-A75MA-P33 Micro ATX FM2
Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3-1600
Video: PowerColor Radeon HD 7950 3GB

After putting everything together, it would not boot. No POST, no beeps, no video. I tried removing the video card and using the onboard video - same result.
Unplugged HD & DVD - same result.
Removed all RAM - got three long beeps (memory error)

Went back to MicroCenter and got another mobo (same one) and new memory (still Crucial Ballistix Sport, but this time 16GB (2x8GB).
First swapped out memory - no change
Swapped out motherboard - no change.
All the fans and lights come on.
Tried resetting CMOS by removing the battery for 5 minutes - no change
Tried turning off and on the monitor - it says "no signal"
Tried both video ports (VGA and DVI)

Any suggestions??

2 things to do in this situation that i would do is....get a better power supply if yours is not good enough and make sure everything is plugged where it belongs also make sure your connection from hdmi if that what you are using is firm

another thing you want to do is try a different tv just to make sure also do no forget to clipp the ram in securely because that can defintely cause no video

Thanks for your quick response.
The power supply is an EVGA 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply and should work. Like I said, all fans and lights go on.
With all the switching of the RAM (and motherboards) I know everything is seated properly.
The monitor works with other PCs and I tried both VGA and DVI. (on both the motherboard and the video card).
I also tried both a ps2 keyboard & mouse and usb keyboard and mouse. The lights work on the keyboard when I turn it on (either one) so I know it is getting power also.
When I have the HD plugged in, I can hear it spin up as well.

One more trip to Micro Center and we have it working! We had used PCPartPicker to create the parts list. It is supposed to only give you compatible parts. That isn't what happened. The processor and CPU that were on the list were not compatible. I'm sure they both worked, just not together.

Lesson learned - go to Micro Center the first time and they will make sure that all of your parts will work together to make an awesome PC.
