which slot pci or pci x for gefoce 8400gS

i am not sure if i have my video card(Geforce 8400GS) in the right slot.My motherboard has 3 different sized pci slots. 2 pci-express x1 lane width(not those i know), 2 pci-x 64 bit or the last slot pci 32 bit? plz help

It's the largest slot it will fit in, closest to the CPU. If it's taking a awhile to boot. try going into the BIOS and forcing it to select the add on GPU.

none of them has a tab. it is working ok, but it takes forever to boot since installing the card and i am wondering if i should try to uninstall and move it from pci 32 bit slot to the pci-x 64 bit slot? Is it compatable for that slot?
