Hello all !

I've got the SAbertooth 990fx and the Bios version is "0901" Release Date 11/24/2011 & i would like to flash it to BIOS 1604. now the question i ask is, is this possible or does one have to do it in stages ? i tried to do it from the Asus Update Ulity but it said the model of the BIOS image does not match the ROM currently present ?

Thanks for taking time to read this !

Seems more like a driver issue or maybe a bug in battlefield 4. I did a quick google search and it seems many people have problems with crossfire in battlefield 4 so you should check the official forum for fixes or upcoming patches that address this issue.

A far as I know, bios updates shouldn't require to be updated in stages. With that said, from my experience I do not recommend updating your bios if you don't have any problems with your current one as they can lead to problems such as instability. If you decide you want to update it anyway then be sure to make a backup from your current bios so you can roll back if there are problems. Your problem could be related to the revision of the board, some boards make revisions after a few years changing some components so be sure to check that the bios you downloaded is for your revision of the board.
