What Temp should my cpu (Amd FX 6100) Run at under load. And what should it idle at? It idles at 65c now and under load it goes up to about 85c . And right now when my cpu usage is at 5% its at 70c its that bad or good or normal?

generally you dont want to be above 80c for long periods if you want your computer to last for a decade. most people try to find ways to get temps down when things get above 75c while others prefer 70c. anything above 90c and you should really start worring becasue at about 98c the metals will actually melt. we dont know what you have installed in your computer but you are definitely running hot. you should be idling down below 50c. we need more information.

That is bad check your voltages And shell out a bit and get a new cooler.
Are you overclocking or over volting and what cooler do you own??
You may want to replace your thermal compound this might be the problem!

your IDLE temp is too high! that means you have a problem with the heatsink/thermal paste, FIX IT!

-Buy some new thermal paste
- remove yor heat sink from your cpu
-clean it with some isopropyl alcohol or just some tissue if you don't have any
-apply new thermal paste and
-re attach your heat sink to your cpu!
-Let us know how it goes!
