i was thinking of upgrading some of my pc parts

so i just really wanted to know if the thermaltake smart m650w a solid and reliable psu???

Thermaltake PSUs are "okayish" but they're certainly not the best ones. Corsair,Seasonic and Antec make one of the best PSUs in the market

Here's a few suggestions to replace your PSU:

These PSU's are your best choice if you're aiming for 650W PSU.
