I have a Dell Inspiron 15R 5520 notebook with dedicated Radeon HD 7670M graphics.
For drivers I have two options:
amd.com or
dell.com

On the dell website the driver version is 8.933.3.4000 and on the amd website the driver version is 13.9. I want the latest drivers. Will I have any problem if I use the driver from amd website?
Also, amd's "AMD Mobility Radeon Driver Verification Tool" is not working properly for me.
I get this.
When I click on install, nothing happens.

Open your Control Panel, and enter the device manager. Right-click on the display adapter-properties and check your driver version -- compare it to the driver version listed on the AMD web site.

Dell/AMD drivers is a crap-shoot ... on occasion OEMs do have unique drivers - especially if you have an Intel chip. That's why you should always use the OEM drivers when offered.

I suspect this may be one of your issues with the verification tool OR you may need to update your .Net Framework ...

It really is a judgement call.

If it were an AMD chipset and you were pushing dual-graphics I'd definitely go with the AMD Update, otherwise, I tend to go with the OEM drivers as laptops are notorious for 'unique' drivers.

If you are comfortable with the driver update I'd go for it, and if you have issues simply do a driver roll-back or a 'F8-Last Known Good System Config'

We can walk you through that if necessary, but ultimately, you have to make the driver call!

I am facing the same problem, i tried downloading the latest beta drivers but it crashed and i had to roll back to old drivers, i tried running COD ghosts, Batman Arkham origin, NFS rivals, and all of them lags so please don't buy these new games because they would be total crap for you until you find solution to this problem.

Email me at gandharvanand1994@gmail.com if you find any solution to our problem.
