Hey,

I have no sound from my onboard audio with 2x HD7770's running in CrossfireX.

I want to run both my HD7770's in CrossfireX with sound from my motherboard using the onboard audio.

I am using the Sabertooth 990FX Rev2.0.

To start with I'll let you know that until recently I have had no issues with my custom built PC.

I bought a 2nd HD7770 so both my cards are exactly the same and installed it with no problems and rebooted my PC.

I was running Windows 8 but upon boot I could not recover the OS due to some other issue and decided to do a fresh install of Windows 7 Professional for ease.

Every seems fine, all the correct drivers are installed including Audio and Video and windows can detect no errors.

The cards are detected and enabled in crossfireX and working as they should.

When I open up my playback devices I can see that my speakers are connected but when I run a test I hear nothing and the green bar is moving. I can also confirm this includes plugging my speakers into the front audio port and also trying 3 seperate sets of speakers/headphone that all work fine.

Using the latest RealTek drivers and software I can see that the ports are fine as it detects any inputs I plug into them.

I have tried installing numerous drivers both from Asus directly and Realteks website and there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with them.

When I disable CrossfireX in CCC I see the AMD High Definition Audio Device appear twice in the device manager list and both active with no errors.
If I plug a HDMI Cable into the 2nd GPU and into my TV I get sound through the TV.
If I then enable CrossfireX, I lose 1 AMD High Definition Audio Device from the device manager list and get no picture or audio from my TV.

I have tried disabling the AMD HD Audio devices and that fixes nothing.

So the only I can get from my PC is via HDMI and no Crossfire.
This is not an option as my monitors do not have a HDMI input and I have some pretty good speakers that I would like to continue using.

The only thing that I do see that could be an issue but I don't know is when CrossfireX is enabled one of the High Definition Audio controllers in also disabled in my device manager.
If I enable this then I just get an error 'Device could not start Code:10'.

So I have finally given up the chase of going through all the forums and looking for an answer to my problem.

Please Help!
