I'm looking to find that sweet spot of the lowest price while providing superb quality for my first HTPC. We're only streaming netflix, movies, etc. Below is what I've purchased so far. I'm not convinced on the Corsair CX series. Even with the 600w being $30 AR last night I couldn't pull the trigger(not modular). Do I even need a 600w? Or would something like this Antec 450w for $16 AR be the better buy? I was considering getting a 650w+ 80bronze to replace my current OCZ 600w 80 plus for my gaming rig and use that in the HTPC. What's Tom's thoughts?

I would definitely avoid the Corsair CX series, not as good as their other series PSUs. Your HTPC won't require much power at all, you could probably go for the smallest ATX PSU from a reputable manufacturer such as Seasonic, XFX, Corsair (except their CX series as mentioned earlier) or Antec. If you will not be running a GPU, even a 450W would be more than you need. If you go the get a new supply for your gaming rig route, there is an XFX 650 PSU currently on sale.

For this build I do not intend to run a discrete gpu. I like the idea of $16 for that Antec. What site has the XFX on sale?
