Hi Good Day!

I have a problem
My friend gave me a old PC and i want to upgrade my old PC
so I bought Corsair SelectValue 2x4GB @ 1333MHz
but when I turn on my computer it will beep
1 Short Beep followed by 1 Long Beep

this is my HP PC specifications

Your memory is unsupported. Look at your link under Memory->memory upgrade information.

The motherboard can support up to 4gb DDR3 total in 2x2gb. You can't use 4gb sticks, you can use a pair of 2gb sticks. That is often the case with LGA 775 motherboards that can use DDR3.
