I have a 100 GB C drive in my HDD and rest 3 are partitions for other use. Is it possible if I buy a SSD drive and make it the system drive (C and make hard disk as secondary drive? The purpose is to increase system's performance because my C drive is used the most by Windows 8 a nd other heavily used software like Photoshop, Visual Studio etc.
My preferred SSD 120 GB is http://www.flipkart.com/kingston-sv300s37a-120g-internal-hard-drive/p/itmdhdhgrrdccgn5?pid=IHDDHDK6XXD8RS8Q&ref=18d6edfb-aace-4740-aba0-f09fed7f9576 for ~ $100 is the cheapest in my region. I have 4 GB RAM and 0.3 ~ 0.5 GB remains unused most of the time. Usual RAM usage is 3.4/3.8 GB in in task manager.
Will SSD as my primary system drive will increase the performance, boot time, software start-up time etc.? I do not do large file transfers often.
