Hey Guys,

I'd like to build a new computer for my programming needs. What I have now is very slow.

I have built the following configuration with that in mind, I need a lot of performance in order to sustain even 8-10 application like Photoshop, After Effects, Dreamweaver, XAMPP, FileZilla etc.. opened at the same time without any difficulties.

This si what I have so far..

I'd also like to play the latest games without any problems, I already have a GTX560 Ti and i would like a GPU that would go well in SLI with the current one. I was thinking to buy another GTX560 Ti and go with both in SLI, but would that increase the performance?

I mean, the GTX560 is great, plays all the games alright. I had some problems with it mainly with it's on board RAM, but other than that, no problems.
Maybe something to complement it?

The reason I went with AMDs 8core CPU is because I need power, I know some applications don't even know what to do with 8. Something better at a similar price, maybe even lower?

Let me know what you think of the current configuration, please don't hesitate to change something if you think it's better, I'm not set with the current one, it's just an example.

Many Thanks!

Hey USAFRet,

As I already have a current system, I have the likes of PSU, HDD etc.. I only need upgrading what's on the list.

I thought of changing to a regular SSD, but I like how the PCI-E SSD sounds. It also has greater speed. I'll only by using it as my system drive, where all the application and OS will stay. So I will need speed.

Thanks for the reply!
