I want to upgrade my PC to handle new gen games better.

Well gonna treat my PC a new upgrade for christmas, but I have no idea where I should go. I handle games like Arkham Origins and AC4 on medium graphics at around 60fps with not that many fps spikes. With what should I start the upgrade? My budget is around 150$, but could go higher if I find something worthwile. Here are my specifications

also, idk if it says it anywhere but my ram is 4GB and my video card's ram is 2GB

Unfortunately there's not a lot you can do for $150 with that build

You are at the stage where nearly everything need upgrading.
If it was me I would start with a new CPU and motherboard and then add parts later.
I would go with this if i had to spend $150
