My pc will turn on, however the display says there is no imput. It did this a day before for the first time, it was fixed by me leaving it off with the power supply switch left off, I came back a few hours later turned it back on just fine with everything running for a whole day. The next day it worked fine as well, I turned it off because I had to leave for about an hour or so, when I turned it back on it did the exact same thing.
I tried doing the same by leaving it off for a whole night, nothing. I left it on for 2 hours, nothing. I unplugged all of the usb ports, then tried unplugging it and plugging it back in and again, nothing. I opened it up and made sure all of the plugs were in all the way, still nothing. I tried unplugging the graphics card and back in along with the ram, hard drive, and the cd rom, yet nothing, I was pretty desperate. My suspision is to the power supply, however I'm not 100% sure.
I need some help.

Solution
The only thing i can think of after all that is to rebuild the system completely.Check everything, like stand offs and cables and what else.
Otherwise it's waiting for that new psu.

I looked at it, however the input is the right one. The moniter only has an hdmi input which is quite odd, I did try using different hdmi cabels- no luck.

If you have one you could use a dvi->hdmi converter.
Try resetting the bios to optimal defaults, before saving with F10+y make sure the right sata settings are applied, like ahci and so forth.
Does the cpu have an igp? =an internal graphics card.

I looked around and I dont have any converters. And no, the motherboard doesn't have an igp so I can't really get to the bios sadly.

You can always reset the bios,=clear cmos,by moving the right jumper or taking the motherboard battery of for about an half hour, with the last option you have to also disconnect it from the wall socket=taking the powerplug out.
It's something to try, after it is done and it worked you need to go into the bios again and reset it to the optimal default values and save with F10+y+enter.Also check the time and date when you're in the bios.

I assume you don't have another psu to try? Maybe from a friend or friendly neighbour.

I did the battery part, I left it out for thirty minuets and there was no luck on that.
I know nobody else with a sutible psu sadly, yet I did have one shipped to here a few days ago still on its way. Lets hope it's the psu failing, not the motherboard.

To bad,but worth a try.
You still need to get into the bios when you can to safe the optimal default settings, remember that.

I hope so too,it's quite an investment for something you're not sure of.

Is there someone with a monitor that has a vga connector that you can try? Maybe that will get you in the bios.
Also try tapping F8 directly when you start the pc,it could get you into safe mode, maybe that works.
