Should I be concerned with 120 Hz monitor?

You don't need to be "concerned" with 120hz, but it is a nice feature to have. Especially one with Lightboost or similar techs.

If you are going with a benq monitor. Go with an xl2420te. It is 144hz ( can go 120hz) with a big improvements from the old xl2420t. It has 1ms GTG and yes it is a little more expensive than the choice you have but when you play games or watch movies. You won't regret the investment.
