Hi, wanting to install a GTX 770 in my system. It's Asus' DirectCu II OC version.

Can my Ultra X3 600W modular efficiently supply enough power to the card?
Note: I think I will have to use a 6-to-8 pin and a 6-to-6 pin connection (modular end of PSU only has 2x 6-pin).

Worried because I know that this PSU is actually a glorified 500W.
Thanks for any help.

Specs: i5 2500K 4.2GHz OC, 2x WD 500GB 5400RPM HDDs, 1x Excelstor 320GB HDD, x24 DVDRW Optical, Asus P8Z68V-LE logic.

Hi, I had some extra time to do some research. Turns out, it's advised not to (1) use a 1x6-pin to 8-pin adapter, and (2) 500W PSU wouldn't be the best to run with my setup.

So, I was able to swap this Ultra with an Anetc HCG-750. Moderators can delete this thread.
