Is this for gaming? If so get 8gb RAM.

Get an i5 4670k and a z87 board.

If you are only getting one 780, 650w is plenty. 860w is WAY overkill even with overclocking.

That board is a bit overkill.

I personally do not like closed loop water coolers. They are loud and not really any better than air coolers.

Yes this is predominantly for gaming. I will get 8gb of RAM now, thanks.

The cheapest I can find a 4670k is £190 (£100 more than a 3570k)

I will be going SLI with them in the future and will be overclock both my CPU and my GPU(s)

The red on the board really matches my build and I will be using some of the features but not all of them. Can you suggest any good boards in red that will be good for overclocking and can do SLI etc?

As for the cooling, looks are fairly important in this build and noise isn't a huge issue and any air coolers as good as a h100i seem to be HUGE! Also in the future I plan to do a custom loop.

Thanks for the advice I will get 8gb of ram if that will be enough for games and photoshop.
