I have a Gigabyte 78 LMT USB3 motherboard and an Asus DRW-24D3ST/BLK/G/AS DVD Burner Internal Optical Drive. Can I fix this DVD drive on my motherboard by means of connections? If yes, then how? Also, I cannot fix the 4 pin power supply connector to the DVD drive as there is no such port for connection. You have to had a SATA power supply connector. How and from where I can get this connector and at how much price? I have a frontech 450W SMPS. Please tell me the whole way of connecting the DVD drive with the motherboard and the SMPS. Actually I have replaced my DVD drive from a faulty LG GH24NS71/GH24NS72/GH24NS95 Internal Optical Drive. There was an IDE connection along with 4 pin SMPS connection. In my new Asus DVD drive there is a SATA connection for motherboard and SATA power supply connection. Finally, would I have to do something in my motherboard's BIOS settings to show up my DVD drive or is it just that plug the SATA power connector and the DVD drive would show up?
