Hi guys, first post here, so yeah here we go!
So, I've currently managed to get my FX-6300 to a very stable 4.5ghz. Tested with prime for a good hour and all of that stuff and I've had no blue-screens or anything for the few weeks I've had the cpu OC'd.
However, I've noticed that the temp likes to randomly jump from 14 degrees to the low 20s randomly, or when I open up a programme (or my documents) it jumps all the way to 29 degrees, then back down to an idle of about 14 degrees. Gaming-wise, it doesn't jump at all, constantly on about 41 degrees.
If anyone could tell me if this is normal, or if i should back down the OC then that would be great
Specs are as follows:
- FX6300 @ 4.5ghz
- 8gb G-skills ram 1600mhz
- GPU: AMD 7950
- Mobo: Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3
- CPU cooler: evo 212+
