Hello people, i have just built my gaming pc but the pch fan on the motherboard does not work so i have returned it to amazon for an exchange, and also i am getting a new sdd, even though i will have the same motherboard and ssd will be the same will my oem version of windows 8.1 pro 64bit work.

Can you clarify the question? Did you already install it on the motherboard you returned? If that's the case, you'll probably need to contact Microsoft because your license is tied to the motherboard you first install it on, even if you send it back (unless I'm mistaken).

sorrys its taken so long i have returned the motherboard back to amaon but have ordered the same motherboard since the other one was faulty, so i will be using the same make, model etc...

So you had already installed your copy of Windows on the motherboard you sent back?
