motherboard trace damage near CPU fan mounting holes?

Installed a CM 212 Evo heatsink fan on my Z87-A the other day. The 212 Evo stands rotated a bit and scuffed up the area around the mounting holes on the front (I can see some scraped up pbc plastic)

If the pc posts and boots just fine, does that mean that I avoided damaging the traces around the holes? Or is it possible to find malfunctions later on?

Does anyone know if all those little traces around the holes actually have a function, or are just grounds?

I would guess you will be ok - the problem is that pcbs have what's called a solder mask over everything that will not be soldered to. This mask protects the copper and also insulates. As long as you are not living by the sea or in an unusually humid environment you should be ok.
