Im looking for a low cost gaming rig that will be able to runs games such as Battlefield 4 at high framerates on moderate settings. I would like to see a few builds that I could choose from.

Anything under $500 would be great but I can go up to $700.

AMD Athlon X4 750K CPU: http://goo.gl/RkUcEn

MSI FM2-A75MA-E35 Motherboard: http://goo.gl/WCCjN2

2GB Gigabyte Radeon R9 270X Graphics Card: http://goo.gl/2sCSdP

8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 RAM: http://goo.gl/1JmAv6

1TB Western Digital Caviar Black Hard Drive: http://goo.gl/gCKgyq

500W Corsair CX500 Power Supply: http://goo.gl/cj2EoT

Rosewill Line-M Case: http://goo.gl/Mw8bMq

This will MAX BF3 at 1080p 60+fps for about $500.
Just ask if you want anything changed!

Im not certain about this, but most of the time when I hear about PC builds, AMD CPU's aren't recommended because of their slow speed and other factors compared to Intel CPU's. Can you tell me more about AMD CPU's and their performance and other stats? And are those things true about not being as reliable as Intel processors?

I used AMD processors exclusively until a new build (old AMD rig is 5 years old), but is much higher than your budget. There is nothing wrong with AMD and will run BF4 just fine.

If you want a low cost Intel setup, here's a video for that:

For AMD (get the latest R270x, not used in the video).

If building this for BF4, go with AMD video card. Read about Mantle for BF4.

Note: DICE recommends a 6 core processor. If it were me building a low budget pc for BF4, it would be AMD 6300/8320, especially over the i3 hands down.

For this price of about $70 there are no intel cpu's that come close.
The nearest one is an i3 for about $130 which is not worth i, might as well spend that extra on the gpu which is the most important.
