I am currently looking to upgrade my computer's graphics card from a Radeon 5750 to a R9 280x.
Before I ask any questions, here are my specs for reference:

Processor: Intel Core i7 870
Memory: 8GB DDR3
Motherboard: Intel DH55TC
Graphics: Radeon 5770
Storage: 1TB SATA

I primarily use my computer for games and run a two monitor setup.

My first question is, will my current motherboard support this card?
Second, with my current 500 watt power supply, will I need to upgrade? (If yes, do you have any suggestions?)
And if there is any other insight you could give me please let me know.

Oh and a link to the card I want here

Thanks for your help.

i cant see there being any issues running that card with that board even been a 2.0 pcie the difference between 2.0 and 3.0 is bairly legible i say go for it. As for the psu 500w is the minimum but i would recommend upgrading that to atleast 700w anything from antec, thermaltake, ocz are quite decent make sure it has atleast two 6-8 pin gpu molex cables to run that video card other then that you should be good

Are there any drawbacks from running 2.0 when the card is 3.0?
