Hi people! I had an asus sabertooth 990fx r1.0 board and kingston 4x4 hyperx gray series memory. All worked well regarding the memory, motherboard detected ram as it should and all was fine. Escept i recently decided to rma my board because of a bad temperature sensor that prevented me from overclocking my cpu. So after 6 mounts with stock clock i decidet ti finally get it over with and got a new sabertooth 990fx r2.0 since r1.0 is not manufacturated annymore. Board is superb and all is working as it should, sensors too. But after a few days i accidently noticed that my ram is not detected. In bios it says 8gb, and in os 12gb installed (8gb usable), no where is mentioned 16gb as it should. its the same ram sticks, arranged is the same order on a (almost) same board, its actually the same system except the board is new, but same model. Remaping is enabled in bios, its a 64bit win 7, sticks fitted properly. So theres my storry, if someone has any idea what can i try, please help. I tried google but no solituions.
