Upgrade or Just grade GPU

Hi everyone I wanted to upgrade my system but Im not sure to wait for the next Intel Gen that one that is coming after Haswell or just stay with my i7 960 intel on the 1366lga motherboard and just upgrade the GPU which i want to play bf4 and other games that are coming out or do i need to upgrade everything else? what you guys suggest ? I have the funds for an upgrade atm.

You should be able to use that cpu a bit longer. Whats the make and model of the power supply? And whats the budget?

I personally would not upgrade your CPU, i7-960 is pretty tank still. Overclock it if you can and upgrade your GPU if you must... what is your current GPU?

My power supple is a thermolake (think i spelled it wrong) but its 600watts my gpu is only a 560ti which i know it sucks. Can i upgrade to a 780gpu? my budget is 2k$

With $2000 you can get a whole new beast of a system. Here I made a really good build that would destroy any game.

I recommend just upgrading your GPU to something high end that will last a while, and then upgrade your CPU/mobo later if necessary. I'd say you should still be fine. Have you overclocked the i7-960 at all?
