hey guys ....pls help me out here

i'm going to buy the R9 270x..

my Pc configuration is...(its DEll INSPIRON 580s ...i'm going to upgarde it)

12gb ram
I3 540 3.07ghz
corssair vs550
intel h57

which motherboard should i prefer to replace current one........as in future i would like to crossfire my GPU......

pls help me out/////

Solution
Get a r9 270x , FX 6300 (or FX 8350 if possible), and a MSI 970A G43 (G46)if possible. It has crossfire support, overclockable, usb 3.0 and many awesome features. Then you could later on crossfire with another r9 series.

Your motherboard has a very 'weird' socket type which is lga 1156. There are least types of motherboards for this.
I suggest you changing your processor along with your board.
Still, All what I can give you for 'that' type of socket is this
http://www.flipkart.com/asus-p7h55-m-lx-motherboard/p/itmd5t3pwyergsn6?pid=MBDD5T3PXBDFZEKC&otracker=from-search&srno=t_4&query=lga+1156+motherboard&ref=3b4ea345-48fc-403b-aacb-259958493fab

I know its over your budget but thats all what will fit your processor in.
And also wanted to tell you that your pc has a very slim case which cannot fit the r9 270 and it may even bottleneck your cpu.

Motherboard does matter!! You can't insert 'ANY' processor like (intel I3 540 in your case). I have to find 'THAT' type of motherboard in which your intel i3 540 Can be fixed.. It cannot be fixed in any motherboard. The motherboard that you have has a different socket type which is called LGA 1156. And there are very less motherboards with these socket.
And yeah the FX 8350 Is a super CPU! It has 8 cores which intel could even ' IMAGINE' now And if you could get a msi 970A G43. Its a very great motherboard with UEFI Bios and many more awesome features.

Hope that helped.

Unless and until you change your proccessor or overclock it I recommend not to buy r9 270 or gtx760,by the way I live in india too and the local market price for r9 270x is 18000 RS, Gtx 760 amp(2 fan version) 21600 and r9 280x is 23600.Out of the three the r9 280x is the best price for its performance.
Do not get the normal zotac version of gtx 760 as you'll regret it alot and you'll need atleast 3.6-3.8ghz to fully utilize the gpu otherwise it'll get bottlenecked.Add me on skype-Amangoel1232123 if you want my help :p I'm from india too and I'm going to upgrade my rig too this month so I could help you out with prices and etc

v331 I live in delhi too,its not 15000 thats outdated,if you talk to the nehru place dealers or go there actually they will tell you that its around 17000-18000.And they won't have shipment until 5th of december too and they are not sure if they are getting the r9 270x.And don't even bother buying these high end gpus unless you have a quad or more core proccessor with atleast 3.6 ghz otherwise you're essentially paying for nothing.

Currently there is no possible way to upgrade your rig in such a way that you can play all games on ultra/high and have the budget under 30000 RS as your Mobo is intel and intel's proccessor are expensive. So unless you give me a better range I can't provide you on how to upgrade your pc and by the way I'd recommend getting 2 more gb of ram as 6 gb of ram will provide you with around 5-10 fps boost in games on high/ultra settings if you're planning to upgrade to high end gpus

Alright get this from nehru place
mobo
http://www.flipkart.com/gigabyte-ga-970a-ds3-motherboard/p/itmdegdcpjujfrsc?pid=MBDDEG8JCM2W6Z7S&otracker=from-search&srno=t_1&query=GIGABYTE+970A-+DS3&ref=f111dba8-14eb-42e2-b45b-60026eeaa839

from flipkart
then a r9 270x since you'r budget is low, you'll be able to play on a mix of high-ultra but if your budget allows try to go for a r9 280x then later on you can upgrade your psu and do Crossfire so you could just buy a r9 270x now wait 2-3 years then get another one for 10000 RS.

The reason I told you to get that proccesor is because the fact that later on you can crossfire your r9 270x and then you'll need a better proccessor then you can simply just OC that proccesor,it's so beginner friendly and you can OC it upto 5.0 ghz but make sure you get a hyper 212 evo cpu cooler for it when you start OC'ing.Never oc with a stock clock. Also with the new mantle technocology in the R9 cards,it'll access all of your cores and utilize it hence the more cores you have the more benefit you gain.In the longer term this will be your best option.

By the way if you don't mind, can you send me the phone no. of the cost to cost's shop owner.I'd like to talk to them about the prices of their graphic card and see if they have the latest graphic card in stock as I might be buying from these guys instead if their price is same as on the website.By the way on the price list its written VAT aplicable so most probably they are going to charge 10-25% extra, you know vendors and their sneaky ways to sell their products.

The fx 4300 will indeed work but the thing is do you want to really get a new cpu when you want to go for crossfire? Since 4 cores won't cut it for crossfiring these gpu.But if you don't plan on crossfiring go for the 4 core one.Opps I copy pasted the wrong model. My bad I was just looking at the model and copy pasted the wrong one,let me find the right one in just a second.
