I currently have a C2Q6700 running at 3.2ghz with an MSI GTX660 OC on an ASUS P5B deluxe MB. I am looking into updating the CPU and MB to an I5 4750K and Z87 MB and wondering what sort of FPS improvements I can expect with the upgrade and if it would be a worthwhile upgrade. I currently game at 1920 x 1080. I have searched various sites and keep finding conflicting info regarding possible improvements with the upgrade.

well lets play with numbers since there are no direct benchmark comparisons 
since core2 to sandy was a ~15% increase (1.15) then ivy increased ~7% (1.15*1.07= 1.2305) then another ~7% for haswell ( 1.2305*1.07= 1.316635) or ~32% @ 3.2Ghz
now thats playing with numbers and real world results depend on whether or not the game is more cpu bound but it certainly a worth while upgrade.
