So My pc died like a few days ago. it wouldn't turn on. I changed the PSU and it turned on for 1 second.

I removed every component 1 by one and it kept turning on only for 1 second. So I decided to buy a new mobo.

I installed a new mobo. and put in my cpu and cpu fan. Still turns on for only 1 second. Now i'm afraid my CPU might be broken. What are the chances of that?

Solution
Fixed, Dumbest thing ever. I put TOO MUCH thermal paste... although it seemed like the right amount. I wiped some of it off and it ran... So it is my mobo and psu problem. Thanks for reading, also answer here for future people.

I shoudl mention what I have

I'm currently running a 600W PSU
Intel core i5-3570k
and my mobo is gigabyte z77x-ud3h

Those are the 3 things i'm trying to get running properly.

Based on people's answer I might just buy a new CPU and rma the one I have now.
