any compatibility issues with this build? this is about the third rendition.
I switched out the motherboard for this one, before it was the Z87 GD65, but decided to get a G45 as it is cheaper and had slightly better reviews. I am aware it doesn't have as many, or as varied internal I/O connectors. not sure if this will be a problem or not for my build. so if there are any compatibility issues or if the H80i wont get the job done for an I5 4670k lemme know? please and thank you!

I think it is a very well balanced build. The only things i would recommend is if you are not going to add a second gtx 770 in the future then there is no need to spend that much money on that psu get this instead http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151118#top or if you want to get a second gtx 770 in the future you still do not need that one it's overpriced get this instead http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817703039 GeForce GTX 770 - On your average system the card requires you to have a 550 Watt power supply unit.GeForce GTX 770 2x SLI - On your average system the cards require you to have a 800 Watt power supply unit as minimum. All in all though great jobThat will be a .good gaming build that...

the h80i is fine. never been a fan of msi motherboards, they tend to have iffy Quality control. that said their recent intel motherboards have been pretty good, so you should be alright. do not get a coolermaster psu. they tend to be pretty junky... stick to xfx/corsair/antec/seasonic.

if all you're going to game at is 1080p you do NOT need 2 770s in SLi. frankly 1 770 is enough. if you want more then 1 can give you get a 780 or r9-290... both would be cheaper then 2 770s in SLi and MORE then enough for a single 1080p monitor.

Finally, any 1800 build lacking a SSD is built wrong. they should be almost required equipment in any modern pc build. without one your whole system will be horrendously bottle-necked by the hard drive. meanwhile your neighbors little $600 a10 APU system with the SSD will feel like the superior computer in day to day computing tasks. fit an ssd into the build please!

I do plan to SLI the gtx 770 at a later date, hopefully when it's pretty dang cheap, if not then it woulda been a tad bit of a waste to get two 770s only at 2gig each. I will check out this other power supply!

waht if I already had the 770 at home in its box but gave my game codes that came with it as a combo deal to a friend as I had no interest in the games. would it be returnable? I kinda doubt it. so i think I am stuck with the 770

so would adding say a 64 gb SSD onto that build just for say windows to run on, would that improve the speed or would I need more then just windows on said SSD?
