This Christmas I bought myself a new HDMI projector however going to have the same problem when having a third screen; the stock model doesn't support three displays.
So I have at max 100$ right now to upgrade this contraption. I am looking at this card right now:
Sapphire (11190-02-20G) Radeon HD 6450 1GB DDR3
- 625 MHz Clock, 1334 MHz Memory
- PCI-Express 2.0, Dual-Link DVI, VGA, HDMI

However am not sure if it is compatible with my computer, which only allows for single din cards.
The second pressing issue beyond compatibility is not overloading my power supply while keeping temperatures to the lows. Right now I have jimmy rigged a commercial fan and upgraded the stock fan to maintain the temperature.
The present card is a 4600 series radon, is an Intel Core i5 750 chip set
Also since I have never done this before a stupid is can I just shutdown rip out the old one and shove the new one in and then everything will be hunky dorey once the drivers are updated?
