I'm on a fairly tight budget for this gaming computer that I'm building, so I'm wondering if I really "need" a 750W power supply as it recommends. The R9 280x that I'm getting is the HIS iPower IceQ X2 and my CPU is Intel's I7 4770k. Then, I was wondering about the memory. I was looking at the Kingston HyperX Predator 8GB (2x4GB) 2400 but realized from a review that the CPU might not support up to the 2400, which I looked it up and the 4770k says that it only supports 1366/1600. The motherboard I'm getting support up to 3000, so would it be pointless to get the 2400? Should I just stick to 1600 that is cheaper anyway? Also, if you have any recommendations for memory that I should get, go ahead and add them. Thanks.

You will be fine with the 1600.

This 650w made by SEASONIC is plenty for your system.
