Hi there I just built my very first PC gaming rig with very good airflow. Not to brag but my cable management is flawless :)  . The point of this thread/question is to see what you guys recommend to upgrade or to give some opinions and tips since I'm pretty new. NOTE I DONT WANT TO UPGRADE MY MOBO AS THAT WOULD MEAN MY FLAWLESS CABLE MANAGEMENT WILL BE GONE
Specs as follows.

CPU:AMD FX 8350 OC TO 4.21 GHZ
CPU COOLER: CORSAIR H80
FANS:3 92 MM FANS. 3 120 MM FANS.
CASE:COOLERMASTER HAF XM
MOBO:ASUS M5A99X EVO 2.0
HDD:1 2 TB HARD DRIVE
OPTICAL DRIVE:SONY WRITE AND READ PLAYER
RAM:16 GB PATRIOT VIPER 2133 MHZ
GPU: ASUS HD 7970 DIRECT II CU TOP MATRIX
OS: WINDOWS 7 ULTIMATE 64 BIT

That's about it, have any questions about just ask. Thank You.

What PSU? I'd suggest a second 7970 if it's a decent one.

You might want to look into an SSD, too.

I believe the PSU is a Corsair 750 Tx

i think the second gpu would bottleneck your cpu... best course is to get a nice ssd for it.

Should the SSD be the storage drive or the boot drive. I currently have 496 GB used.... It'll be hard to find a SSD that big for a good price.

ssd s make most sense as system drives. they are fast and small compared to hdd's. you would normally move movies, music and such to the hdd and use the ssd for the operating system and files you use most / need in the blink of an eye.

Boot drive - OS and some programs e.g. games.
