Okay so I have satelite internet and i wish to port forward. My external ip is 116.250.255.xxx (aus) and my modem gives the tenda router an ip of 10.10.56.2 then my router gives out 192.168.0.xx I cant get port forwarding to work. My modem does not have port forwarding in its gui but my isp told me it automatically forwards all ports???

I am starting to think I have a private ip from my isp activ8me.

Please help me I reaply want to setup my servers soon!

Best solution

Router's can't automatically forward all ports; you have to manually specify both the port and the destination.

Your ISP is just saying whatever it takes to get you to hang up.

You may need to either flash a custom firmware, or get another router.
