Are you buying a monitor: Yes

Parts to Upgrade: (Building new pc from scratch)

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: http://www.staticice.com.au/ shows a mixture of local Australian products for computers. I have book marked a bunch of stores also that are most likely included in staticice. They are:
www.netplus.com.au
www.pccasegear.com
www.scorptech.com.au
www.centrecom.com.au
www.itsdirect.com.au
www.itestate.com.au
www.umart.com.au
www.ijk.com.au
www.itsky.com.au
www.msy.com.au
www.techbuy.com.au
www.megaware.com.au
www.allneeds.com.au
www.cpl.net.au

Location: Sydney, Australia. CBD.

Parts Preferences: Best long lasting, reliable brand. Thats not going to mess up any time soon. Something like a Toyota for instance.

Overclocking: Maybe, I hear this decreases computer life expectancy.

SLI or Crossfire: SLI means single graphics card and Crossfire means running two right? One sounds safer so ill go with SLI

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1200, but aren't i buying a new monitor? What's the best one for games to run smooth?

Additional Comments: Its obvious I'm novice and cannot do this without outside help. Please help me. I would like to make a gaming system that can run most games on max-graphics and get the best possible fps.

And Most Importantly, Games like Planet Side 2 and bf4 are causing lag spikes and a below standard 15 or 20 fps, if im not standing in the middle of a battle. Other games like Minecraft & space engineers have to be played with caution. I cant go into heavily populated servers or build large scale space ships to my preference. Arma2 is just unacceptable on 20 fps on the lowest graphics settings & i have not even had a chance to enjoy Arma3 since it came out. Cant play a game as big as that with only 500m view distance and 10fps.
Is that a good enough reason? Lol I speak as if my beast hasn't served me well over the 4 years she's lived. I love her but i need to change, cant take this any more.
