I'm looking to purchase a new laptop on a tight budget. I've been able to narrow it down to 2 laptops. One has the AMD Quad-Core A10-5750M 2.5GHz while the other has the 4th generation Intel® Core™ i7-4700MQ 2.4GHz and I'm not really sure which one to get. Both laptops are the same price so it all comes down to the best performance for what I need.

I'm need of a laptop mainly for use in SolidWorks, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other programs such as those. I'd also like to do some gaming on it if it's good enough for it, mainly just for something like Skyrim or Minecraft and not much else.

Here are all the other specs on each of the laptops:

Laptop 1:
AMD Quad-Core A10-5750M (2.5GHz)
12GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm)
1TB 5400RPM Hard Drive
15.6-inch diagonal HD BrightView LED-backlit Display (1366x768)
AMD Radeon HD 8000 Series Graphics

Laptop 2:
4th generation Intel® Core™ i7-4700MQ 2.4GHz
8GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm)
1TB 5400RPM Hard Drive
15.6-inch diagonal HD BrightView LED-backlit Display (1366x768)
Intel HD Graphics 4600

I'm aware that Intel is almost always the better option, but the AMD does have 12GB of memory compared to 8 in the Intel so I don't know if that pushes it past the other laptop enough or not for what I need.

I would said that both config wont able to live up to yourself expectation ~
As One is better in gaming and one is better in productivity ~
But the one with productivity is just because of Intel's QuickSync ~

Number 2 haz a good cpu but is useless for games. no 1 haz crappy apu but will be better for games due to integrated graphics and better gpu.
I wold tent to lean towards no 1 -more memory -better graphics.
