Storing a CPU?

Today my best friend's computer kicked the bucket. I went up to see if it would be an easy fix. Well he complained about how his computer took a few times to boot then his liquid cooling was making a constant gurgling noise? Well today he came home to his computer making a screechingish noise then eventually turning off. So first think I wanted to look at was his cooling area. I took his liquid cooling off and noticed it had a section on the corner that looked greenish/burnt? Then noticed it was slowly leaking out and brown liquid was sitting on some of the parts of the mobo as well as the bottom of the case. Well I moved the pipes around to clear the passage and it felt a lot better but I was still worried about this minor leak. So I cleaned up and put it back on and turned the computer back on. All sounded well then 2 minutes later it turned off. So I took off the GPU, hard drive, CD Player, and RAM. After doing so, no power was getting to the mobo. Usually it has a green light when power is available but now it doesn't.

SO - I bought him a new Corsair heatsink and a new Power Supply and gave him my new MSI mobo that I had sent to me as a replacement. I have him set in the hardware department and his GPU/RAM/Hard Drive stored in some nice cardboard boxes but how should I store the CPU? I see it as a simple delicate square of a part. I do not want to damage it and especially since it's not mine.

Sorry for the story but help!

It's an AMD processor and he got the computer from Ibuypower a few years ago so we aren't working with much! I was going to put it in a small cardboard box but I feel like something more suited is available.
