I know this is much more expensive, but it uses the newer socket LGA 1150. Don't go with socket LGA 1155, it's a dead socket now as Ivy Bridge will soon be discontinued and then you can't upgrade your processor.

The motherboard is higher quality and even has built-in wireless adapter in case you can't hook up an ethernet cable during lan parties.

And finally, the case is relatively small and has handles for carrying.

If you want to bring the price down, go for this board: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asrock-motherboard-b85mitx
But then you'll lose out on wireless capabilities if that is important to you.
