I don't know what CPU to get for sure. I had an 8-Core on my list but from what i've read so far today's games run best on Quad Cores. I've been looking at FX-4130 and FX-4300 i think the 4300 would win over the two. But if theres better for gaming please advise. I mainly play starcraft 2 WoL and HoS.

Obviously the FX-6300 is better than FX-6200,
FX-6300 score slightly better than FX-6200 in gaming...

FX-4300 is enough for those games that you've mentioned in your post but you should buy atleast Hexacore processor for decent future proof gaming like FX-6300.
If you have more money then you can go for FX-8350 if you dont want to overclock but if you can overclock then FX-8320 would be better for gaming and which GPU are you going to buy.

How about a FX-6200? Is that one any good? The FX-6300 looks great the speed is the one thing that causes me to doubt it. FX-6300 at 3.5GHz and FX-6200 at 3.8GHz. Although the 6200 is a bit faster it looks like it runs hotter. Please let me know which one to get out of these two. Thanks

Obviously the FX-6300 is better than FX-6200,
FX-6300 score slightly better than FX-6200 in gaming benchmarks and FX-6300 consumes 95W where FX-6200 consumes 125W.

look at these benchmarks : http://www.techradar.com/reviews/pc-mac/pc-components/processors/amd-fx-6300-1117533/review
