Hi, so i have an amd 5800k with a 660. ( i know bad choice but its whatever ) So i play mainly counterstrike and i ran a benchmark with fraps of me running around the map on the general same path. One was stock and the other benchmark was with the processor oc'd to 44ghz and the voltages up about 136 volts which is like 1.456 volts or something around there maybe 1.46. But yea i get a bit worse performance like ten less frames. why is that? and what can i do to the processor to increase my fps to a bit higher because i want a consistent 120+fps . Am i doing something wrong?I also have a hyper 212 evo fan installed. and i disabled cool & quiet, c6 ,apm all that stuff and turbo boost off

Oh and i have a gigabyte F2A55M-HD2 motherboard and 600w

The A55 motherboards do not overclock very well. You're probably showing 4.4ghz at idle, but I bet your A10 is throttling back to like 2.0ghz under load.
I can't find information on the Voltage Regulator Module on that motherboard, but if you look at pictures of it, you can see that it lacks a heatsink. I doubt that the VRM is anything too robust.

Long story short, your motherboard may be holding you back.

But, what are you core temperatures, out of curiosity?
