Every time I let my PC go to sleep mode, my IPadres is gone and i have no connection... I have to troubleshoot my connection and then the LAC adaptor is reset and I get a new IPadres... Can anyone tell me why? It's really annoying to have to reset the adres everytime or sometimes even restarting. TY

When it comes out of sleep, the ethernet or wireless adapter stays powered down because of a power saving setting. Go into Control Panel>>Device Manager, expand Network Adapters and right click each one and go to Properties. Under the Power Management tab, untick the box beside "Allow the computer to turn off this device" then click Apply and OK.
