I have a system very similar to this (I 5 2500K, 8GB Corsair Vengeance, 2GB MSI R6950 Twin Frozr, 650TX Corsair Psu, etc.)
Put it this way. I'm looking to upgrade my GPU to a r9 290 and I still don't expect to run games on ultra settings. Admittedly, I don't have any of the latest games but given what Skyrim runs at, ultra settings for the latest games is on a rig of this type I would say is "optimistic". If this person can run BF4 at ultra settings, it kind of begs the questions
1) Is his resolution 800x600?
2) Why is he ditching this monster set-up?

The answer depends on what the monitor res is. Like what fastestlouigie said. If he plays at 800x600/1024x600 then it should have no problem. 1080p or higher? Pushing it. If you really want a good bf4 rig then picking your own parts and building a pc yourself is your best option. I also somewhat don't get what he got that 16gb for.

You don't say whether you've bitten the bullet and bought this rig? If you haven't, then I would take the advice of others here and make your own rig, or if you can't afford this, save until you can afford it. Or if you're looking at just gaming and don't need the highest resolutions, maybe a PS4 might be a way forwards?

Oh heavens no I haven't purchased it yet. I love gaming but I'm not a console fan. I have a ps3 and It rarely gets played. I just dont want to build my own right now I dont have the time ya know? I just want to buy and play. Just not sure if it would be cheaper to buy my own and build it?

Well as dorky as this sound. Can someone guide me to build something? If anyone has any recommended do it yourself templates of something around 300-500 to play some crysis I'd be happy. Or recommend a site with some blue prints?
