Crossfire on INtel DH55TC mobo

I've an intel dh55tc mobo and planning to crossfire a RADEON HD 7850 and 7950.But my mobo has 1 PCIe x16, 2 PCIe x1. So with the PCIe raiser cable will I be able to crossfire.Also please recommend a good PSU for this XFire

Your cards won't work in Crossfire. The chips are of different families (Tahiti for the 7950, Pitcairn for the 7850). Either card can be paired with its xx70 sibling (7970 or 7870), but not each other.

Thanks but if they have same architecture then can it work with the PCIe riser cable?
