I recently installed a Nvidia 630 GPU in my new build. The display through the GPU is not good, distorted sort of! Is that because of the DVI to VGA adapter am using or any other prob?. Display through Motherboard's VGA is proper! I have installed all the driver still the problem is persisting !
My build-
Gigabyte B85M D3h
Intel Core i5-4670K
Zotac Nvidia 630-DDR5

Monitor is AOC e2043FsK

Try Installing your GPU in other PC and check wether this problem still occures or not.
If yes then take your GPU to its respective serviece center or else try a new DVI to VGA adapter.

Check with a straight DVI connection, you need to rule out the adapter as the issue. Also make sure your resolution is set properly for the monitor you are using.
