can anyone please tell me if its possible for s 3Tb external hard drive can be fixed

i have a 3Tb external hard drive that has recently been dropped off the coffee table onto tiles by accident i picked it up straight away and tested it to make sure it still works since it contains all our movies n music it is also the frist time it has been dropped

your hdd is likely dead. You can try using recovery software to get some files back, like recuva. Otherthan that you can try getting a replacement from seagate under warranty maybe.

the hard drives cannot be fixed by everyday tools, they are designed for one off use, if it does not not work, probably it is the end of it.
You can get the data off the hard drive, but the compay who does that has a clean room and special tools to do so

oh ok cause i got a seagate HDD and its the first time its been dropped and all i hear out of it is beeping and silence thats all and was hoping it could be done to go back to working again
