Here's what happened and the problem this morning:
1) Computer is on a self start for 7am every morning.
2) Computer boots but is continually looping (turning on, monitors remain on stand-by, then shuts reboots - it's as far as it gets - no post, bios - nothing).
3) I shut it all down (Hard shut down on power button) open up case, remove battery from the MoBo, waited 5 seconds, and then put it back in. I had removed power cable of course.
4) Computer now boots up POST screen and I can enter bios - Temps are all normal - everything is sound and back to default Bios settings. I had it previously over-clocked, so originally thought CPU had finally died.
5) Now, when I check in Bios, the Hard-Drives are showing as two separate ones. They were originally in RAID (1 I think?) - So I knew immediately that it wouldn't boot windows...
6^) Turns out, it won't boot into windows... "Missing Operating System"...
I've had this problem before and resolved it with a very simple method... Unfortunately I have no idea what I did last time...
I have no external devices plugged into my PC (USB sticks etc).
If I boot the Windows 7 CD and check out any repair options, there is nothing to repair because the HDD's are not in raid = no operating system.... (Which of course is not true)
It's definitely something to do with how to get my HDD's back in to Raid option as opposed to two separate HDDs'...
Any help would be massively appreciated - I have ridiculously important documents / work on there and am a little stressed to say the least right now
