Best hard drive for recording.

I have a western digital 3TB mybook which i record to it is plugged into my USB 3 Port and works perfectly i record BF4 and BF3 at 1080P to it no problem. And i use dxtory which makes truly large files.

6GBs is the speed that the Drive can transfer at but it will never reach that speed even SSDs can only read and write @ +-500MBs

Take the samsung Drive.
Yes its normal for a USB 2.0 drive to have 25MB/s USB 3.0 i have reached 100MB/s plus
