Will the Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P Motherboard support an MSI GTX 670 OC 2GB edition?

I'm looking to buy a GTX 670 OC 2GB Edition separately from the PC. But I'm not sure if the motherboard supports it, I've done research but am still not sure. If the Gigabyte motherboard doesn't support this card then the other option I have is the Asus M5A97 V2. The GeForce website says it needs PCI Express 3.0 and dual slot, This is important as I am ordering soon. Thanks

of course it supports it ... pci express 3.0 is literally just a bigger number for now... will make 0 performance to you,
i bought a GA-970A-UD3P recently myself... very nice board, if you go for asus instead then only the M5A97 EVO R2.0 because of better power design,
gigabyte already has digital 8+2 power phase design on this board
