Hi. This is my first time posting, so I would like to thank you all in advance for your help.

I am looking to build a system for software development on a project that will need to have access to a few terabytes of image data. As such, I was thinking of using a RAID 5 or 10 setup for storage along with a cached boot disk. In addition to the storage requirement, I will need to be able to preform CPU/GPU intense image processing. I am limited to a $4000 budget.

Below is what I was able to come up with. I was wondering if the system would work, and if I would have any problems with it. Also, any general feedback or advice would be welcome.

Not that I can provide much but I've read and heard that western digital are much more reliable when it comes to hard drives so if there was an alternative western digital 3TB with the same specs and price I would go with them. Just something to consider and maybe do some research on. And if I'm wrong about this then don't mind me aha
