Hi guys,

I am trying to find a 'good enough' gaming pc for around £600 - £700 This price will need to include a monitor and windows 7.

How to Ask for New Build or Upgrade Advice questions:

Approximate Purchase Date: This month

Budget Range: £600 - £700

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming!

Are you buying a monitor: Yes

Parts to Upgrade: All - New build

Do you need to buy OS: Yes - Windows 7

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Any UK based websites

Location: Yorkshire, United Kingdom

Parts Preferences: The best for the money.

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: No

Your Monitor Resolution: I would like a 1920 x 1080 - 20"+ monitor.

Additional Comments: Games - Just Cause 2, Far Cry 3

This is what I have found so far:

WIndows 7 - Home Premium

Corsair Memory Vengeance - 8GB

Corsair Builder Series CX 500W

Corsair Carbide Series 200R

Western Digital 1TB Blue

MSI B85-G41 PC Mate

Intel CPU i3-4130 3.4GHz Dual Core

Asus VS228NE

EVGA GeForce GTX 660 2GB FTW

Thank you in advance.

Looks good, you might consider 4GB of ram and the 7950 if you don't run anything else if you are gaming. 7950 will perform better than the GTX 660.

Thanks for the quick reply,

I was wondering if I should change the cpu for an amd? Or is the i3 better a better choice?
