My favorite would be Sandy Bridge, as I could get my i5-2500k from 3.2 GHz to 4.7+ GHz with water cooling.

For the newest ones, I recommend this:

i7-4930K
Asus Rampage IV Black Edition
Corsair Dominator Platinum 8x8Gb DDR3-2133 CAS 9
EVGA GTX 780Ti Quad-SLI (You can watercool them without voiding the warranty)
Samsung 840 Pro (However much storage you want)
Corsair AX1200i x2 (Much more than enough power to overclock them)
Corsair 900D (Room for 2 Quad-Radiators and a triple)

For cooling, I recommend a loop by EK Waterblocks
EK Supremacy Elite LGA 2011
4x GTX 780Ti Waterblocks
Motherboard Block (use coolingconfigurator to find every block & its not released just yet :)  )
2x EK XTX Series 480
EK XTX Series 360
Compression Fittings G1/4 (Nickel)
EK Tubing (Whatever color you want, just make sure it is 1/2")

I definitely recommend changing your hard drives to Western Digital Blacks and your GPU to one from Asus, EVGA, or MSi. Other brands I don't trust as much.

for CPUs I think one of these will do the trick however if you do think that there is another one better than these then go ahead i 4770k , i 3930k , the one you told me i5-2500k there are more however I don't know the actual limits of overclocking on them.

As for the GPU I think I'm going to stick with the GTX 780 Ti, Unless you prove that there is something better than this and performance with acceptable price difference but I'm sticking with this.

Most likely CPU is going to be i 3930k. I say most likely but if there is something better I will go with it however it's been confirmed that the newer the CPU the much better it's going to do with games. Not sure this is 100% true.
